From both the North and South, the A9 takes you directly to Inverness. Leave Inverness for Drumnadrochit on the A82 ‘Fort William’ road, heading west. Continue on A82 for 2.5 miles outside of the city of Inverness. You will pass signs for the Kilvean Cemetery on your right, then the Loch Ness Country House Hotel on your left. Follow the road between two fields, and you will come across a road sign for a “quarry” on the left. Keep going a short while, and you’ll find farm buildings on your left and a purple bus stop on the roadside on your right. Immediately after the bus stop there is a turning, with a number of wheelie bins. TAKE THIS TURNING. Follow the track, which bends round to the right, past ruins of a grand white building. Just past this building is our gate, which will be open. Come on in!
From the East take the A96 and then join the A9 at the Raigmore interchange, now follow the directions above from Inverness.
From the West/Fort William take the A82 north, where you will travel through the villages of Fort Augustus and Invermoriston, and Drumnadrochit. Keep driving along the loch for around 12 miles from Drumnadrochit. As you begin to approach Wildtrax HQ, you will pass Oakwood Restaurant on your right. The road bends up and round to the right, passing a turning on the left for Blackfold and Abriachan, then onto a straight section with fields either side. Look out for the small 60mph road sign on the right hand side of the road and indicate left. There will soon be a number of wheelie bins on your left hand side. TAKE THIS TURNING. Follow the track, which bends round to the right, past ruins of a grand white building. Just past this building is our gate, which will be open. Come on in!
