Payment & Deposits
Arrival after 30 days: In order for us to secure your reservation, we do require a 25% deposit at the time of booking, which is fully refundable up to 30 days before your arrival date. The balance will then be auto-processed 30 days before your arrival date; please ensure there are adequate available funds on the card used at the time of booking.
Arrival within 30 days: If your arrival date is within 30 days from the booking date, 100% of the amount will be due at the time of booking.
In either case, please click on the link below under “Payment Summary” and enter your card details into our secure payment gateway to make the payment – the system will automatically calculate the amount due.
A pre-authorisation of £1000 will be processed on the day of hire. This is a sum of money that is held from your card throughout the duration of your adventure for security purposes. Should any damage occur to the vehicle or contents we reserve the right to use the security deposit up to the value of £1000, or should the damage caused be greater than £1000, it will serve as the excess to be used against the insurance policy.
Subject to the vehicle and contents being returned in good condition, the funds will be released within 24 hours. Funds may take 3-7 working days to appear in your account.
Please note that this sum increases to £1500 for those aged 21-22, and £1250 for those aged 23-24 in line with our insurance excess.
We also offer a Security Deposit Reduction Waiver, which is a one-off flat fee of £75 that reduces the security deposit (and therefore the maximum paid towards the insurance excess) from £1000 to £500. If you are interested in this, we can arrange on the day or in advance so be sure to let us know if you are interested in this. For younger drivers, the deposit is reduced to £1000 for those aged 21-22, and £750 for those aged 23-24.
